Ranbir Kapoor’s Ramayana is one of the most-awaited films. While everyone is eagerly waiting for the Nitesh Tiwari directorial, a new photo from the sets has now surfaced on social media. In this latest click, Ranbir is seen posing with his co-star and actress Indira Krishna. The Brahmastra actor is seen wrapping his arms around the veteran actress as they look into the camera and flaunt their million-dollar smiles.
Sharing the picture on her Instagram handle, Indira Krishna wrote, “Animaling… ❤️….Thank u fr ur care ,love and kindness and ur wonderful gestures Ranbirrr…costar.” Check it out here:

Ranbir Kapoor is surely enjoying time on Ramayana sets with his co-stars. Previously, actor Ajinkya Deo, who will be playing the role of Vishwamitra in the much-awaited film, also shared a picture with Ranbir. The two were seen twinning in black as they posed for the camera. In the caption of his post, Deo wrote, “So now for the clarification on this photo … excited to be doing a stellar role in the film Ramayan a magnum opus with RK and it’s been a wonderful year and a half as I shared the screen first with Neetu Singh Kapoor ma’am then with Karisma Kapoor for a web series and now with Ranbir Kapoor.”
Ranbir Kapoor will be playing the role of Ram in Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana, whereas Sai Pallavi will be seen essaying the role of Sita. Recently, photos of the two actors from the sets of the film leaked online in which they were seen in their Ram and Sita avatars respectively. Reportedly, KGF star Yash has been roped in to play Ravana in the movie. The film will also star Arun Govil and Lara Dutta as Dashrath and Kaikeyi respectively. Reportedly, the makers have also roped in Sunny Deol for the role of Hanuman. However, there is no official confirmation regarding this as of now.
Ramayana’s release date has not been announced as of now. However, trade analyst Sumit Kadel recently claimed that the makers are planning to release the Ranbir Kapoor starrer in 2027. This means that fans will have to wait for almost three years before they can see Ranbir as Lord Ram on screen.
