Rashmika Mandanna enjoys a massive fan following and there is no doubt about it. Recently, the actress attended an event for Anand Deverakonda’s upcoming film Gam Gam Ganesha when she was seen interacting in Telugu. However, one of Rashmika’s fans took to X (formerly known as Twitter), shared a video of the actress from the event and requested her to speak in English at events so that her non-Telugu speaking fans could also understand it.
“You continued speaking in Telugu, which we couldn’t understand. Don’t you think that if you have fans in the North, they would also like to hear you speak? If you speak in English, more people will be able to understand you, not only in the North but also those who speak Kannada, Tamil, or Malayalam,” the netizen wrote.
Reacting to this, Rashmika revealed why does she not speak in English at events. “I try my best to talk in English so that everyone of you understand me no matter where you are from… but I am just uncomfortable with the fact that many people who want me to speak in their language will think that I am disrespectful of the language or that I don’t know the language, but- I’ll try my best,” she wrote.

Later, the X user replied to Rashmika’s response and clarified that the purpose of her note was not to complain. “We understand. We don’t want to react too much because we know you want to keep everyone happy. The purpose of this tweet was just to let you know that you have fans all over the country and they all want to hear from you,” the user wrote.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Rashmika Mandanna will soon be seen in Pushpa 2, which also stars Allu Arjun in the lead. Earlier today, the makers of the film dropped its second song titled Angaaron.
Directed by Sukumar, the last leg of shooting for Pushpa 2 is currently underway. Recently, Rashmika also talked about the much-awaited film when she promised that it would be “bigger” than ever. “I can promise you that Pushpa 2 is going to be so much bigger. We gave some madness in the first film, in part 2, we know we have a responsibility because people have so much expectation from the film. We are constantly and consciously trying to deliver that,” she told Pinkvilla. Pushpa 2 will hit theatres on August 15, 2024.
