Salman Khan Makes First Public Appearance Since Galaxy Apt Firing, Leaves Mumbai Amid Tight Security
Salman Khan made his first public appearance after gunshots were fired outside his home in Mumbai.

Salman Khan made his first public appearance since the firing that took place outside his apartment in Mumbai. The actor was spotted at the Mumbai airport with tight security on Friday morning. The actor was heading out of Mumbai. The paparazzi were stationed at a distance and Salman did not pose for the cameras either. The actor was seen wearing a pair of black baggy jeans with a black T-shirt. He completed his look with a pair of black sunglasses.

Before Salman was spotted at the airport, the paparazzi spotted his loyal bodyguard, Sheru at the airport. It appears that Sheru was ensuring that the airport was safe for Salman to travel at. Mumbai Police Commissioner Vivek Phansalkar told CNN-News18 that Salman’s security was reviewed and upgraded on Thursday. Check out the video below:

Salman’s house, Galaxy Apartments, was fired at on Sunday, April 14. Hours after the gunshots were fired, Lawrence Bishnoi’s brother Anmol Bishnoi took responsibility for the firing. Top Mumbai Police sources told News18 that Lawrence’s gang was behind the attack and it was carried out by Rohit Godara, who operates the Bishnoi gang in Rajasthan.

The Mumbai Police commissioner told CNN-News18, “We are substantiating it with evidence”. He further said that their teams had found where the weapon was and noted that some progress would take place soon, hopefully.

Meanwhile, the security has been increased outside Galaxy Apartments as well. Salman earlier had two PSOs. Now, two commandos, two escort vehicles and 11 cops under the Y+ category security accorded to him. However, three cops and one PSO were added to this convoy.

Although Salman is yet to comment on the attack, his father Salim Khan spoke to India Today about the incident. “What’s there to talk about ye jaahil log jo kehte hain maar denge tab pata lagega na (These illiterate people say you’ll learn your lesson when we’ll kill you). We’ve been given extra police protection. They’ve (Mumbai Police) assured protection for us and our friends. If they’ve arrested two people today, that means they’re on it,” he said.
