The clash between Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Mumbai Indians (MI) in the IPL 2024 at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai, was a rollercoaster ride. Both the teams gave tough competition, while spectators were on the edge of their seats throughout the match. In the nail biting battle, it was MS Dhoni’s CSK who won the match with a big margin. Amidst the thrilling game, the presence of numerous celebrities at the VIP stand added glamour to the night and among them, Bollywood star Kareena Kapoor stole the spotlight. With her vibrant energy, the Jab We Met actress caught everyone’s attention as she cheered for Hardik Pandya-led MI. Known for her glamorous personality; Kareena opted for a simple attire, as she wore a white top paired with minimal makeup and accessories.

Throughout the match, she passionately cheered for Mumbai and was also seen celebrating former MI captain Rohit Sharma’s century. Kareena wasn’t the sole star in attendance, she was seen seated near Neha Dhupia, along with her husband, actor Angad Bedi, Abhishek Bachchan, John Abraham, Sachin Tendulkar’s daughter, Sara Tendulkar and MI owner Nita Ambani. All the celebrities supported Sharma as he remained in the game till the end and scored 105 runs in 63 balls. Despite Rohit’s outstanding performance, the match went in the favour of CSK, who won the match by 20 runs.

During the intense clash between Chennai Super Kings and Mumbai Indians at Wankhede Stadium, former CSK captain MS Dhoni stole the show with consecutive sixes against arch rivals. Thala entered the ground during the final over while the team was on 186 and after the wicket of Daryl Mitchell. With his signature skills, Dhoni ended the innings with the total score of 206 and he himself scored 20 runs in just four balls. Leaving behind the rivalry, the crowd gave thunderous applause to the iconic cricketer. One fortunate fan even received the game ball from Dhoni himself.

As Kareena Kapoor was present at the IPL game in Mumbai, she received a huge shoutout from none other than Diljit Dosanjh during a recent concert. The Punjabi sensation went a step further as he compared Kareena with global icons Beyonce and Rihanna. Adding more excitement to the moment, the Chamkila star delighted fans as he dedicated the song Naina to the Bollywood diva. Recently, both stars impressed with their performance in Crew, alongside Tabu, Kriti Sanon and Kapil Sharma.
