Revealing more about the film, director Indrajit Lankesh revealed during its mahurat event that Gowri draws inspiration from the late journalist Gauri Lankesh, his sister. Notably, Gauri Lankesh was a courageous journalist tragically shot dead by Parshuram Waghmare, an alleged member of Sri Ram Sene.

The Putta Gowri Maduve talked about her passion for acting in an interview with a portal. She said, “My passion for acting came when I started accompanying my mother to the set. I always became curious when so many people came and talked to my mother and not to me. When she explained the reason to me, I realised that she was only concerned about attention, which I liked, and that’s why I’m here.” She has been involved in serials since she was at LKG. “I don’t even know how many serials I’ve done so far. At the moment, I enjoy participating in Putt Gowri Maduve, a series about child marriages that conveys a good message.
