The latest MCU offering, Deadpool & Wolverine, has sent Marvel fans, including celebrities, into a frenzy. The film, starring Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman, premiered on July 26 and has been breaking box office records. Amidst the excitement, Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh became the latest star to fanboy over Ryan Reynolds after watching the movie. The Singham Again actor shared his movie night experience, expressing his enjoyment of the latest release.
On July 31, Ranveer Singh posted an Instagram Story featuring an intense scene from Deadpool & Wolverine with Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman. Engrossed in the movie, he expressed his emotions, captioning the post with “Wholesome cinema.” He also added GIFs of popcorn, Deadpool and Wolverine, along with the text “Best Bubs.” Adding a Bollywood touch to the scene, he included the song “Humko to yaari se matlab Hai” and tagged Deadpool and the main stars.

In his next story, Ranveer gave a special shoutout to Ryan Reynolds and wrote, “When it Rynas, it pours. what a guy,” along with a photo of the Deadpool star clicked by celebrity photographer Rohan Shrestha.
In response to the special mention, Ryan Reynolds reposted Ranveer’s story on his own Instagram account.
This isn’t the first time the two actors have heaped praises on each other. In an earlier interview with Marvel India, Reynolds praised Ranveer for his humour and compared his physique to Hugh Jackman’s.
When asked which Bollywood actor he would like to work with, Ryan said, “I don’t even know. Oh…Ranveer Singh is amazing. He has done the voice of Deadpool I think. He is very funny. But also ripped.” Turning to Hugh, Ryan added, “You think you are in shape?” The Wolverine actor replied, “Really!” Ryan continued, “This guy makes you look like a ‘Crypt-Keeper’. He is amazing.”

Ranveer is not only a fan of Marvel films but has also worked for one in the past. The actor had dubbed the Deadpool character in the Hindi version of Deadpool 2 (2018).
Apart from him, several other Indian actors have been associated with Marvel Studios in the past. Notably, Varun Dhawan has voiced Captain America in Captain America: Civil War (2016), Tiger Shroff did the voiceover for Peter Parker in Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017) and Rana Daggubati dubbed for Thanos in the Telugu version of Avengers: Infinity War (2018).
