The story of the series is set in the backdrop of 1978 Thiruvananthapuram and Vellayani. It revolves around the life of Nagendran. The man dreams of earning a lot of money, but fails to do so as he is too lazy to go to work. To achieve his dream Nagendran decides to marry. He subsequently gets married to 5 women of different ages and characteristics. In the beginning, the series shows that Nagendran lives with his mother. He lives on his mother’s earnings and doesn’t want to go to work.

Following some funny moments, Nagendran is seen chatting with his friend Soman, who is a broker and an artist. One day, their old friend Paulos returns from Kuwait. Seeing him Nagendran wishes to visit the country. Paulos promises to help him to find a job there and tells Nagendran to manage some money for the visa. This leaves Nagendran in great trouble as he is afraid to ask for such an amount from his mother. Then Nagendran and Soman brainstorms ways to raise the money. Nagendran then decides to marry a girl and ask for a dowry in order to get the desired amount. After the marriage, he realises that the girl doesn’t have any money and thus again starts to find a girl who can afford a good amount of money as a dowry. Then he marries one more girl, but the plan fails again. Nagendran continues to pursue the plan by marrying more women. The story of the series continues as he plans ways to avoid getting caught by the police for marrying five women.

The web series is presently trending on OTT. The performances were highly praised by the audiences and the critics. Through the unique storyline, the director showcased the culture and lifestyle of the people of Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. The character of Nagendran is portrayed by Suraj Venjaramoodu.
