A Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC) bus on Wednesday collided with a car in Delhi’s Karampura area, leaving one person critically injured.

Further investigation into the matter is underway.

Just a day ago, two men were killed and 12 others were injured when a dumper truck hit two vehicles and a handcart parked on the side of a road in Uttar Pradesh’s Bulandshahr.

The incident occured late on Monday evening near the Mahadev intersection in the region.

The injured persons were rushed to the community health centre from where they were referred to another hospital for better treatment.

In another case of road rage in the national capital, a man, after being hit by a bus, was forced to climb the bonnet of a minibus which dragged him for several metres late on Sunday.

Fortunately, no one was injured in the incident, which took place on Ring Road.

Earlier last month, a speeding electric bus lost control and crashed into multiple cars and two wheelers in Delhi’s Rohini area leaving one person dead and another injured.

The incident, which took place near Vishram Chowk in Awantika, was captured on CCTV.

In the video, a DTC bus was seen hitting multiple vehicles including a car, an e-rickshaw, and a bike before dragging them.

Before coming to a stop, the bus also crashed into several scooters parked near the pavement.

According to police, a PCR call regarding the accident was received at South Rohini police station. Following this, police reached the spot to find that the 30-year-old injured person, who had been shifted to Baba Saheb Ambedkar Hospital, was declared dead.

The other person who sustained injuries in the accident is receiving treatment at the hospital.

In October, a bus rammed into a school van in southwest Delhi leaving at least seven school children and the driver of the van injured.

The injured were taken to a hospital, where the children were discharged after treatment for minor bruises. The van driver was also recovering in the hospital, police said.

The accident took place at Basantara Line near Kendriya Vidyalaya. The school bus belonged to St Thomas School in Dwarka and the Eeco van was carrying the children from Kendriya Vidyalaya Number 1.

All the kids were below the age of seven.
