Wasim Jaffer and Michael Vaughan are well known for their banter sessions, the duo came face to face once again after the English cricketer poked fun at the Indian over his Test average at Wankhede Stadium.
Former India wicketkeeper batter Dinesh Karthik shared a video of Vaughan when he was writing the social media post on X before he received a fiery reply from Jaffer.
The duo are often seen engaging in banter on X, and the latest one saw Vaughan troll Jaffer for his Test average on his home ground which the Englishman called the ‘best batting surface’ in India.

The former England captain attended the clash between India and Sri Lanka as the Men in Blue hammered the Lankans by 302 runs to seal their place in the semifinals.
“So good to be at the Wankhede yesterday .. The best batting surface in #India .. As a local boy @WasimJaffer14 averaged an astounding 7.75 in Test cricket at such a iconic cricket venue .. #Mumbai,” read the post from Jaffer.
While writing the post, Karthik was sitting beside Vaughan as he shared a video of the same.

Shortly afterwards, Jaffer hit back at the ex-England captain, pointing out that he did miss out on a few Test matches played at Wankhede, but he preferred other challenges such as scoring double hundreds in home and away Test matches, along with doubles and triple hundreds in First-Class matches.
Yes Michael Wankhede is a batting paradise, too bad I missed out in the couple of Tests I played there. Could be because I preferred challenges. Like the challenge of scoring home & away Test 200s or FC 200s & 300s.. but you wouldn’t know any of those feelings so nevermind https://t.co/XI7vGdYQq7— Wasim Jaffer (@WasimJaffer14) November 3, 2023

A few days ago, Vaughan celebrated his 49th birthday before he landed in India, and there were plenty of banter sessions between the two former cricketers back then as well.
