33. Chanderi is a state Assembly/Vidhan Sabha constituency in the state of Madhya Pradesh and is part of Guna Lok Sabha/Parliamentary constituency. Chanderi falls in Ashok Nagar district and Chambal region of Madhya Pradesh. It is categorised as a rural seat.

There are a total of 1,72,823 voters in the seat, which includes 91,893 male voters, and 80,927 female voters. In the 2018 Madhya Pradesh elections, Chanderi recorded a voter turnout of 75.79%. In 2013 the turnout was 75.35%, and in 2008 it was 74.17%.

In 2013, Gopal Singh Chauhan Daggi Raja of INC won the seat by a margin of 30,318 votes (24%). Gopal Singh Chauhan Daggi Raja secured 58.17% of the total votes polled.

BJP won this seat in the 2008 Assembly elections with a margin of 4,548 votes (4.87%), registering 35.46% of the total votes polled.
