New Delhi: Aam Aadmi Party leader Arvind Kejriwal's deadline to reply to the Election Commission notice ends on Monday. Kejriwal was served a notice for allegedly seeking votes from Muslims on religious grounds, which is a violation of the model code of conduct.
The EC notice came after differences between him and Anna Hazare over the collection of funds and campaigning for Delhi Assembly elections.
The Election Commission had also issued notice to Congress's Vice President Rahul Gandhi and BJP prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi earlier for violating the code of conduct.
Kejriwal is contesting from New Delhi constituency against Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit and BJP's Vijendra Gupta. Delhi will go in polls on December 4 and results will be declared on December 8.
