New Delhi: YSR Congress chief YS Jaganmohan Reddy's mother Vijayamma met BJP President Rajnath Singh on Wednesday.
The meeting took place a few days after YSR Congress chief praised BJP prime ministerial candidate and Gujarat Chief Miniter Narendra Modi for his administrative skills.
He had said hat he wanted Modi to change BJP. He added that being elected thrice as the Chief Minister shows that he has been a good administrator. "If a politician wins a state thrice doesn't that prove that he is good. I want Modi to make BJP secular," he said.
Jagan had also said that if Modi can change the outlook for the BJP and make it a secular party, it will be able to get the support of many others. "We don't want Muzaffarnagars, we want Mohabbatnagars," he had said.
Earlier, he hit out at the Congress for dividing the state and overlooking the welfare of the people.
Jagan is on an indefinite hunger strike protesting against the Centre's decision for the bifurication of Andhra Pradesh since October 5.
