Morena (MP): Madhya Pradesh BJP unit president and party candidate from Morena parliamentary seat, Narendra Singh Tomar and his family has assets valued at Rs 7,78,000 (seven lakh and seventy eight thousands), according to the affidavit filed by him along with his nomination papers for the election.
Tomar has a 306 bore gun, but no house or vehicle, the affidavit said.
The BJP state unit president's affidavit said that he has Rs 7 lakh in banks and Rs 70,000 hard cash with him, while his wife possesed Rs 8,000 cash and 25 gram gold.
Besides this, Tomar has life insurance policy of Rs 10 lakh, the affidavit added.
To buy a house in Bhopal, from the Madhya Pradesh Housing Board, the BJP state president has been sanctioned a loan of Rs 17.80 lakh by the Punjab National Bank, the addidavit said.
In his affidavit he has stated that no criminal case was pending against him in court, nor he had been convicted.
