UPA biased against Jharkhand: Arjun Munda
The national highways passing through the state were in pathetic state-of-affair, Munda said.

Jamshedpur: Jharkhand Chief Minister Arjun Munda on Friday accused the Congress-led UPA government of adopting a biased approach towards them and "hampering development process" of the mineral-rich state.

"The national highways passing through the state were in pathetic state-of-affair but the Union government is not co-operating with the state government to improve their condition," he said after inaugurating a trade fair by CII.

"Such a biased approach from the union government raises several questions as the tardy pace of development is one of the reasons that educated youths are being diverted from the mainstream of the society," he said.

While other states were flourishing with minerals supplied by Jharkhand, the condition of the its own people is pitiable due to the "biased approach" of the Union government, he alleged.
