Murshidabad: Three people died and at least two have been injured after a crude bomb exploded in Murshidabad in West Bengal. Police have recovered large cache of explosives including 3 containers of crude bombs from the site.

Locals allege that this was a fallout of a fight between two groups of Trinamool Congress (TMC) who have been clashing over territorial control.

The poll bugle has been sounded in the state with voting being held in six phases from April 4-May 16. The counting of votes will take place on May 19.
