Congress is opposed to the land acquisition ordinance and is likely to intensify protest against the BJP government ahead of the Budget Session.

The investigating officer (IO) placed on record the copy of the reference made by the CVC to CBI on the basis of which initial preliminary enquiry was registered.

The Union Minister also said that the BJP has to introspect and find out the means to expand its base further.
