Kannada director Arvind Sastry, renowned for his debut film Kahi, is set to make a comeback with the much-anticipated Bisi Bisi Ice Cream. Starring Aravinnd Iyer, Siri Ravikumar, and Gopalkrishna Deshpande in lead roles, the film is currently in its post-production phase and is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release in March. The newly unveiled trailer provides a glimpse into the characters, with Aravinnd Iyer portraying a cab driver, Siri Ravikumar taking on the role of a high-end escort, and Gopalkrishna Deshpande playing a self-proclaimed businessman.

Aravinnd Iyer’s portrayal as a cab driver stands out in the trailer, while Siri Ravikumar adds glamour and depth to the narrative with her impactful expressions. Gopalkrishna Deshpande’s performance has garnered praise from both audiences and critics alike. Produced by Akshara Bharadwaj under the banner of Boiled Beans Pictures, the film boasts a musical score by Nakul Abhyankar, with Enosh Olivera handling the cinematography.

The movie marks the second collaboration between director Aravind Sastry and actor Aravinnd Iyer, following their successful partnership on Kahi in 2016. Arvind Sastry shed light on the film’s concept, emphasizing that while the protagonist is a cab driver, the narrative does not singularly focus on his profession. Describing Bisi Bisi Ice Cream as a drama, Sastry elaborated on the characters, stating that Siri plays a high-end escort without a specific name in the film, while Gopalkrishna Deshpande portrays Manto, a self-proclaimed businessman and pimp. The film intricately weaves together the adventures and misadventures of these characters, offering a unique perspective on their lives.
