Alcatel has launched a new smartphone, the Alcatel 3V in India. The device is priced at Rs. 9,999 in India and it will be available in the country from May 31, exclusively via Flipkart. Alcatel has also announced various launch offers with the device including the instant Rs 2,200 cashback offer from telecom operator Reliance Jio. Jio users will also get gift vouchers worth Rs 1,000 from Myntra and Rs 500 from Cleartrip on purchasing the device. In addition to this, other launch offers include an extra Rs. 1,000 off on exchange, no-cost EMIs from HDFC Bank and 15 percent discount on ALT Balaji subscription. The Alcatel 3V will be available in Spectrum Black and Spectrum Gold colour options.

The device sports a 6-inch IPS LCD 18:9 taller display that has a full HD+ resolution (2160×1080 pixels) and a 2.5D curved glass covering. The smartphone is powered by a quad-core 1.45GHz MediaTek MT8735A processor along with Mali T20 MP2 GPU. The phone is backed by a 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 128GB via micro SD card slot. The phone runs on the Android 8.0 Oreo operating system.

In terms of optics, the device houses a dual rear camera setup with a 16-megapixel primary sensor and a 5-megapixel depth sensor, coupled with a flash. On the front, it has an 8-megapixel sensor coupled with a flash module. Camera features include Bokeh, EIS, PDAF, ZSL, Face Beauty, a Social Mode, and Instant Collage, amongst other features. In terms of connectivity, the smartphone offers dual-SIM card slot, 4G LTE, VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS/A-GPS, microUSB port, a 3.5mm audio port and is powered by a 3000mAh battery.
