BlackBerry's a struggling tech company in the consumer space. Their first Android smartphone the Priv was a great effort but the Indian consumers didn't fancy it because of its high pricing. Now BlackBerry is all set to give them a taste of Android again with three new devices. They'll be the BlackBerry Neon, Argon and Mercury.
Reported by GSM Arena thet three new BlackBerry devices will be manufactured by TCL’s recently acquired company, Alacatel.
BlackBerry Neon will be a mid-range device that'll come loaded with 3GB RAM and 16GB of internal storage. The BB Neon is said to have a 2,610 mAh battery with Quick Charge 2.0. The device will feature a 13 megapixel primary camera and an 8 megapixel selfie camera. The phone is set to go on sale in a couple of months.
The BlackBerry Argon on the other hand will feature a 5.5 inch QHD screen and will sport 4GB RAM with 32GB storage. The BB Argon is set to run on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 CPU and will have a 3,000 mAh battery with Quick Charge 2.0 support. The phone will also sport a USB Type-C charging port and a finger print scanner. There will be a 21 megapixel rear camera and an 8 megapixel selfie camera on the BB Argon.
And unlike the BB Priv the BlackBerry Mercury will have an always out physical QWERTY keyboard. All theree phones are set to be launched globally and hopefully will come to India in this financial year itself.
