New Delhi: Chinese smartphone manufacturer Gionee is all set to launch its new Marathon M5 smartphone in India on November 24. The company has started sending out media invites for the event that will take place in Bengaluru.

The highlight of the phone is its powerful 6020mAh Lithium-ion battery, which is said to keep the phone running for up to 4 days. The phone is also capable of reverse charging, which means it can be used as a power bank to charge other devices.

The phone, which was unveiled to the world in June this year, carries a price tag of CNY 2299 (roughly Rs 24,000) in China. The company, however, is yet to reveal the price for the Indian market.

The Marathon M5 features a 5.5-inch HD display and under its hood is a 1.3 GHz quad-core processor coupled with 3 GB of RAM. It includes an internal storage of 32 GB. It features a 13 megapixel rear camera and a 5 megapixel front-facing shooter.
