New Delhi: Google has finally extended its Calendar app to the iPhone much to the relief of those who loved the app but were reluctant to switch the interface.
The Google Calendar app provides Android-like Schedule View- that makes the calendar easy to scan; Gmail events- that turns emails into Calendar events automatically; and broad account support that includes Exchange and iCloud calendars. It also includes Assists feature that makes suggestions to save you time creating events.
The company's blog noted that the app works with all the calendars one has already set up on their phone.
Later last year, Google had refreshed its Calendar app for Android and had announced that it will roll out the version for iOS soon.
The app is a free download for iPhones and iPods running iOS 7.0 or later. However, there is no iPad support yet. The company has also updated its Calendar for Android.
