Honor 9 Lite was up for grabs in a flash sale at 12 pm on Flipkart today. As per Honor India, the latest budget offering by the company was sold out within the first 120 seconds on the e-commerce website. This was the fourth flash sale of the smartphone and as per the company claims, was the fastest till date to go out of stock, matching the speed of sales with its previous flash sale on January 23. The first and the second flash sale of the Honor 9 Lite saw the smartphone being sold out within 6 minutes and 3 minutes respectively.
“Since the first sale, we have witnessed unprecedented consumer response that has pushed Honor 9 Lite to emerge as one of the best-selling smartphones from Honor’s portfolio this year. We expect the momentum to grow more and more with time" said P Sanjeev, Vice President, Sales, Huawei Consumer Business Group.

In terms of specifications, Honor 9 Lite sports a 5.65-inch full-HD+ IPS display with 1080x2160 pixels resolution and it bears an aspect ratio of 18:9. The device houses a 3GB and 4GB of RAM along with 32GB and 64GB of internal storage which can be further expanded up to 256GB via microSD card. The smartphone runs on EMUI 8.0 based on Android 8.0 Oreo software and is powered by a Huawei HiSilicon Kirin 659 processor. The device is backed by a 3000mAh battery.
As for its cameras, the rear camera of the phone comes with a 13-megapixel primary sensor coupled with a 2-megapixel secondary sensor. A similar setup is seen on the front camera module as well. Both the front and the rear camera setups carry LED flash. In terms of connectivity, the device offers dual hybrid nano-SIM slot, 3.5 mm headphone jack, GPS, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi, The device also carry a fingerprint sensor at the back panel.
