Huawei's Honor announced the launch of its Honor 5X and the Holly 2 Plus in the Indian market. The 5X is priced at Rs 12,999, while the Holly 2 Plus carries a price tag of Rs 8,499.
The phones go on pre-order on Flipkart and Amazon India from 3 PM on January 28. The Honor 5X will go on sale from February 1 and the Holly 2 Plus from February 15.
The Honor 5X, which was first unveiled at CES earlier in this month, is encased within a metallic body and includes a fingerprint sensor. The dual-SIM phone supports nano-SIM, micro-SIM, and has microSD card slot to support expandable storage of up to 128 GB (16 GB internal).
The phone has a 5.5-inch 1080p display and is powered by a 1.2GHz + 1.5GHz Qualcomm MSM8939 octa-core processor with 2 GB of RAM along with a 3000 mAh battery. The phone includes a 13 megapixel primary camera and 5 megapixel front facing camera.
The Honor 5X will be available in three colors – gold, silver and grey.
The Rs 8,499 Holly 2 Plus packs in a 4000 mAh battery and supports 4G for both CDMA and WCDMA at the same time. The phone is powered by a MediaTek MT6735P 64-bit 4x1.3Ghz quad-core processor and 2 GB RAM. Huwaei says the Holly 2 Plus has been specially designed for the Indian market.
The Holly 2 Plus offers a 13 megapixel rear camera and a 5 megapixel front. It has 16 GB internal storage and a MicroSD card slot for storage expansion.
