iPhone 16 Pro Could Get A Fast-Charging Boost And We Are Hoping It’s True
Apple is going to bring its AI features to the new iPhone 16 series this year but there is a lot more expected in terms of upgrades for the users.

Apple is planning for a big AI upgrade with iOS 18 that will be rolling out with the fresh set of iPhone 16 series models. But once again Apple could put more emphasis on the buyers to consider getting the iPhone 16 Pro and 16 Pro Max models. Latest leaks suggest the upcoming iPhone Pro models will get a big charging boost, both for wired and wireless speeds.

Apple, like every other flagship brand, has refused to enter the charging arena for years, along with Samsung and Google taking a similar stance. But things could be about to change this year, if the rumours of the new charging support are true.

iPhone 16 Pro Charging Boost News – What We Know

The leak report claims the iPhone 16 Pro and 16 Pro Max will support up to 40W wired charging speed and 20W MagSafe wireless charging. The real-time tests will prove whether these rumoured upgrades help in actual charging speeds for the iPhone 16 Pro models in any way.

But it is good to hear these rumours, and we are hoping that Apple continues to focus in this direction even if it doesn’t want to get close to the smashing figures of 60W, 80W or even 100W to charge the iPhones in our lifetime.

These specific figures could also be related to the possible increase in the battery capacity of these models, which would invariably force the company to push the peak charging levels to maintain the standard charging speeds that iPhone users get today.

At a time when OnePlus is bringing new battery tech to reduce the size without compromising on the charging, it is evident that the premium peers need to at least come closer to these staggering figures. The new iPhone 16 series will be launching in a few month’s time where we will get all the details about the models and how quickly they can charge.
