New Delhi: In a latest revelation, the yet-to-be-released Windows 10 Lumia smartphones have been leaked in a Facebook post.
Microsoft is expected to take the wraps off its new devices that come powered with its latest Windows 10 software at its October 6 event.
However, a post on Facebook has revealed what looks like sections from an internal Microsoft presentation, highlighting the new smartphones, dubbed Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL, along with a new budget Lumia 550 device.
The affordable Lumia 550 is expected to be a replacement to Microsoft’s popular Lumia 5xx series devices and feature a 5-inch HD display. Powered by a 1GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset and 1GB RAM, the Lumia 550 will feature a 5 megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 2 megapixel front snapper.
It will further come with 8GB of internal storage with microSD card support of up to 128 GB. It will come powered by a 1905mAh battery.
Lumia 950 and 950 XL will feature a 5.2-inch and 5.7-inch QuadHD displays and feature 20 megapixel rear cameras. Powered by 3 GB of RAMs, the smartphone will offer 32 GB of internal storage.
The smaller Lumia 950 will run Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 hexa-core chipset and draw its juice from a 3000mAh battery with USB Type-C while the XL variant will run an 810 octa-core chipset and feature a 3300mAh battery.
The two smartphones will come with the new Windows Hello unlock feature while a Microsoft Display Dock will enable the Continnum feature that will turn them into PCs.
While the original post has been removed from Facebook, its cached version is still available.
The software giant is also likely to announce the Surface Pro 4 and Microsoft Band 2 at the New York event.
