Mozilla is working on developing the experience for iOS with the latest improvements and tools in the iOS 8 version.

New Delhi: Mozilla has announced that it will soon begin a limited beta test of its popular browser Firefox for Apple’s iOS platform.

Firefox for iOS has been under development over the past few months and the company has now announced on its blog that it will be sharing source code for the early testers and prepare for a beta soon.

Although Mozilla is unable to bring the full Firefox experience and rendering engine to the iOS due to the restrictions, it is working on developing the experience for iOS with the latest improvements and tools in the iOS 8 version.

The company says that it would prefer to have an open beta on a wider scale. However, for now it will go through the required process to get the Firefox app tested on iOS.
