Nikon has launched the latest Z6III full-frame mirrorless camera in India. This new device from the Japanese camera giant boasts features found in the company’s legacy models, including the Nikon Z9 and Z8. With a 24.5-megapixel sensor , the new camera is aimed at capturing picture and video production.
It comes equipped with the world's first partially stacked CMOS sensor and advanced Auto Focus capabilities that set it apart in its category. The camera also offers rich video specifications and the ability to capture still images at speeds up to 120 frames per second, making it a versatile choice for both photographers and videographers.
Z6III is capable of recording videos in 6K, 5.4K and Full HD/240p. The device can perform high-resolution video production and create slow-motion effects. It provides an extended recording time of up to 125 minutes in 4K UHD/60p (8bit) format. Videographers can also use 12-bit ProRes RAW HQ and N-RAW formats, allowing for flexible colour grading options.
Nikon Z6III receives a -10 EV AF detection range, for performance in low light and backlit conditions. It can detect nine types of subjects. With ISO sensitivity ranging up to 51200 for videos and 64000 for photos, the model captures detailed images in challenging environments as well. The EXPEED 7 image-processing engine in the camera ensures noise reduction at high ISOs and preserves textures in photos. It also features an 8.0-stop in-camera Vibration Reduction (VR) and electronic VR to stabilise video recording, for smooth and clear footage.
