OnePlus Dash Charging: April Fool Prank or a Surprise Product on The Line?

As the last day of March is underway, OnePlus, known for its notorious pranks, looks all set to give another April Fool Day surprise to the masses.

On March 29, The Company tweeted on its Twitter handle asking the users which next device should they power with their dash charging, with the options being a Bottle, toothbrush, shoe and a cleaning brush.

Since OnePlus smartphones are known for their dash charging, the company is playing well on their patent technology to generate curiousity around what might come as an announcement about a new product being launched.

Our best guess, a power bank maybe.

But don’t get your hopes up just yet. This might be just another April Fool’s day prank by the company, something for which it is known since the past few years.

Back in 2015, OnePlus had released a sandstone cover for Apple iPhones. The cover seemed to be a shot at Apple as it displayed the logo of OnePlus at the back, right where Apple logo is displayed.

OnePlus had posted another tweet on the same day reading ‘Meet the future of Dash Charging tomorrow’, confirming its announcement to be about a ‘dash-charging’ related product.

With these announcements, the company is sure to raise some eyebrows as the OnePlus 3T Midnight Black goes on sale starting today. The limited edition of the OnePlus flagship smartphone will be available on Amazon India and the OnePlus online store, OnePlusStore.in.
