New Delhi: Sony has launched the recently announced Xperia M4 Aqua Dual smartphone in India at a price of Rs 24,990. The company has also launched the Xperia C4 Dual that will be released sometime in mid-June. The company is yet to announce its price.
The Sony Xperia M4 Aqua features a 13-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. The rear camera is powered by Sony's Exmor RS mobile sensor with a large F2.0 aperture, and ISO 3200 sensitivity, while the front camera offers a wide-angle lens with an 88 degrees field of view.
It features Sony's full suite of preloaded Xperia Camera apps along with the Sound Photo app that lets you add short clips to the pictures and Movie Creator that automatically converts images into thirty second vignette clips.
Sony's first octa-core 64-bit smartphone, the Xperia M4 Aqua, runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor and features the latest Android 5.0 Lollipop OS.
The phone has a 5-inch 720p display, integrates 4G LTE connectivity and has a battery that is claimed to last for up to two days.
The Xperia M4 Aqua Dual will be available in classic White, Black, fresh Coral colours .
