New Delhi: Last year, a Chinese company that had never manufactured phones came out with the world's first phone with the reversible USB Type-C port. Letv (pronounced "L-E-T-V") is now back with another world's first.
The little-known company unveiled the first-ever smartphone - the Letv Max Pro- running a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset at the ongoing CES 2016.
The chipset includes four Qualcomm Kryo CPU cores clocked at 2.2GHz, along with an Adreno 530 GPU and 4 GB of RAM, Engadget reports.
The Letv Max Pro is phablet-sized with a 6.33-inch WQHD (Wide Quad HD) display with a 2,560 X 1,440 pixel resolution. Powered by the latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow, the phone includes a 21 megapixel rear camera.
Letv is offering three storage choices of 32, 64, or 128 GB. The phone draws is juice from a whopping 3,400mAh battery with Quick Charge 2.0 technology.
Akin to Letv's first phone, the Letv Max Pro also comes with a USB Type-C port for charging and output along with a rear fingerprint scanner.
While the core of the smartphone is new, the exterior reminds of Huawei's Mate 8 with the circular fingerprint sensor and overall designing.
