New Delhi: Focusing on camera technology, iBall has introduced a new smartphone that is aimed at photography enthusiasts. Named iBall Cobalt mSLR4, the new phone comes bundled with a range of lenses including a zoom lens with 8x zoom, a fisheye lens with a 175-180 degree viewing angle, a macro lens with 10x magnification and minimum object distance of 10-15mm, and a wide-angle lens with a 130-degree viewing angle.
"The multiple options of the lens shall snap great pictures and change the way photographs are captured on the smartphones. Its again heartening that we are the first in India to launch a product with this technology," says Sandeep Parasrampuria, director, iBall.
The iBall Cobalt mSLR4 features a 5-inch IPS qHD display and runs Android 4.4 KitKat OS. The phone supports 15 regional languages and is also backed by an octa-core processor paired with 1GB of RAM.
The new smartphone is powered by a 2,000mAh battery. It houses an 8 megapixel rear camera with a dual-LED flash and autofocus and a 3.2 megapixel front-facing shooter with a soft LED flash. The built-in 8GB of internal memory is further expandable up to 32GB via a microSD card.
Connectivity options include dual-SIM with dual standby, 3G, WiFi, USB on the go, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and HotKnot.
It comes with free pouch for lenses and cleaning cloth for the lenses. The iBall mSLR Cobalt4 is available at Rs 8,499 and will be available across the country within few weeks in a phased manner.
