In a bid to test how much of a real-like experience VR devices are capable of offering, a YouTube user took Valve's first-person, horror-survival shooter The Brookhaven Experiment. Renate from the Karl&RenateVR channel played the game and she couldn't go beyond the first level because it freaked her out so much that even the virtual weapons in her hands were seen shivering. The under-4 minute video is complete with Renate's screams as she frantically moves around the room holding controllers with shaky hands as a team of zombies (visible only to her) try to attack.
