Salman Khan returned to our television screens with another season of his superhit reality show Bigg Boss on Sunday night, October 15. Bigg Boss 17 features an interesting mix of contestants from various fields. Among them, YouTuber Sunny Arya caught the attention of the show’s fans. After YouTuber Elvish Yadav emerged as the winner of Bigg Boss OTT 2, fans of the show have high expectations from Sunny Arya. In an exclusive conversation with News18 Showsha, Sunny shared his feelings before entering the show.
Talking about entering the Bigg Boss 17 house, Sunny said, “Main itna zyada khush hoon ki main aapko bata nahi sakta. Yeh khushi aapko dikhegi Bigg Boss 17 house ke andar (I cannot explain how happy I am. You will see it inside the Bigg Boss OTT 2 house).”
Bigg Boss 17 premiered nearly two months after Elvish Yadav lifted the Bigg Boss OTT 2 trophy. During that season, Elvish and YouTuber Abhishek Malhan emerged as the top two contestants. Sunny said that he supported Elvish Yadav over Abhishek Malhan.
However, both contestants became immensely popular after their Bigg Boss stints. The audience loved their candour and camaraderie. Now, the viewers have high expectations from Sunny.
Sunny was seemingly unfazed by this added pressure. Sunny said, “Bohot accha lag raha hai kyuki jo mere chahne wale kuch the, voh badhne wale hain. Kuch chahne walo ne mujhe dekha tha, unki matra bohot kam thi. Ab voh 10 guna badhne wali hai. Bohot accha lag raha hai, bohot acchi feeling hai. Mast, bindaas enjoy karne wala hoon, tehelka machane wala hoon (I’m feeling great because earlier, only a few people love me. Now, that will increase 10 times. I’m going to enjoy and have a great time).”
Sunny added, “Humari community saath mil ke hi rehti hai, par aisa nahi hai ki hum (Elvish and Abhishek) dost hain. Kabhi ek do baar kisi event main mile toh hi hello ya Ram Ram ho gayi (We are a close-knit community but I am not friends with Elvish or Abhishek. I met them once or twice at an event and said hello).”
Besides Sunny, YouTuber Anurag Dobhal aka ‘The UK07 Rider’ has also entered the Bigg Boss 17 house. It will be interesting to see what their journeys will look like on the show.
