Almost everyone claims to know every corner of their homes well, particularly if they have lived there for a few years. However, imagine bumping into a well-hidden secret room in your house that you have been living in for 4 years. Something of the same nature happened to Aurora Blazingstar and her partner, who made a chilling discovery while they were removing a carpet from their basement.
Arora shared a video clip on TikTok, which shows a portion of the wall being moved out of the way by her husband. It revealed a metal door that led to a completely new room. It was not even a small cupboard, but an entire room that was shown. Even the house owners had no idea about it in the four years they lived here.
Many people were completely amazed that it was not discovered while they were in the house. But the room remained hidden with a sliding drywall pocket door. The long narrow room had a drain and a light switch that worked, as well as a collection of mats on the floor. This revealed that it had been used earlier also.
Aurora and her husband pondered over what the room could be used for. A panic room, a bomb shelter and even a gun safe were suggested by them but TikTok users had more macabre and horrifying ideas. One said that it looked like a room where a murder might have taken place while another said that the room looked like one where serial killers brought and tortured their victims. Users urged the couple to get the room investigated by the police.
A TikToker later confirmed that police were called to investigate the room, but no evidence of any crime was found. She said, “They didn’t see any sign of crime, they weren’t investigating anything, they didn’t see anything that looked like DNA evidence that needed to be collected, but they were genuinely fascinated by how the room was concealed.” The pair previously found another room upstairs behind a wall of mirrors, and it is now being used as their children’s playroom.
