Cricket fans across the country came out late at night in large numbers to celebrate the victory of India against South Africa in T20 World Cup finals. In videos going viral on the internet, a crowd can be seen dancing and cheering on the streets as they celebrate India’s much-awaited win.

Crackers were lit, the tricolour was up high and fans were dancing their hearts on the streets out to join the celebrations. A large crowd danced to the beats of drums on many streets.

In visuals shared by news agency ANI, fans were seen rejoicing and cheering for Team India after India lifted the second T20 World Cup trophy beating South Africa.

Grand celebrations where thousands of individuals gathered to celebrate the moment that India waited for the past 13 years. The visuals from Mumbai’s Shivaji Park went viral on social media where a huge crowd can be seen raising tricolour and ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai’ slogans.

An unusual scene was witnessed in Mumbai airport, where the passengers were seen dancing on dhols to celebrate today’s grand win. Posters congratulating Team India were also seen at the airport.

Meanwhile, fans in Hyderabad celebrated the India’s victory in a unique style where they were seen running on the RTC X road of the city with the Indian flag.

India beat South Africa in the final of the ICC T20 World Cup, beating the Proteas by 7 runs. Rohit Sharma and company brought an ICC trophy home after 11 years and India’s first World Cup win since 2011.

India defeated South Africa in a nail-biting contest held at the Kensington Oval in Barbados to win their second-ever ICC Men’s T20 World Cup title. In a see-saw affair with the match wildly swinging from one camp to another, India bowlers held their nerves and overcame a Heinrich Klaasen blitz in the middle overs to successfully defend 177 and also end their 11-year-long wait for an ICC title.
