Kachnar City, located in Vijayanagar, a newly developed locality of Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh has become a prominent religious place for devotees globally. According to Local 18, a 76-foot-high idol of Lord Shiva is situated in a temple located here. The idol shows Lord Shiva sitting in a meditation position. Many devotees arrive at this temple to pay their respects to the Lord’s idol and offer water as a gesture of reverence, gratitude, and devotion to the divine power. The architecture of this temple is magnificent, which is further enhanced by the Lord Shiva’s idol built of white marble. Lush green gardens and a charming environment surround this Lord Shiva temple complex. As per the popular beliefs, the wishes of devotees who worship the Lord Shiva’s idol here are always fulfilled. The believers pay their respects to Lord Mahadeva (Lord Shiva’s other name) with Ganga Jal, Bel Patra and milk. They also chant special mantras in praise of the deity.

Many religious events and festivals are organised annually in the Shiv Temple in Kachnar City.
