Many creatures around the world have been extinct over time. Nature’s changes, as well as their failure to adapt, have been a primary cause of extinction. One such creature was known as the Tasmanian Tiger or Thylacine. According to The Guardian, the last Tasmanian Tiger, which was kept in a zoo, died in 1936. It has been almost 88 years since this creature became extinct. But photographs of this creature have just gone viral again. A person claimed to have seen a Tasmanian tiger in a jungle.
According to a report on the Daily Star News website, a person named Jack shared some pictures with American wildlife expert Forrest Galante. These photos were taken in Tasmania and are from April this year. Jack recounted his encounter and explained that he and his father were travelling at night when they noticed a strange creature by the roadside in a forested area.
At first, they thought it was a dog, but when it opened its mouth and started screaming, they realised it was a Tasmanian tiger. Jack added that his encounter with the tiger lasted for about half a minute before the creature ran away. He said that he and the tiger were waiting to see who would attack first.
After the interview on Forrest’s YouTube channel, he said that these pictures look fake. They want to believe these photos but are not able to. Later, these photos were also posted on the Reddit group r/HighStrangeness, where they sparked controversy and debate among users.
These photos have since gone viral and received mixed reactions. One person said that he also thinks that Tasmanian tigers are still alive. He added that they may live more in Papua New Guinea, not in Australia. At the same time, other people said that the pictures were fake. Many people said that the photos were made using artificial intelligence. One said that it looks more like an oil painting than a photograph.
