'No One Will Ever Talk To You': Bengaluru's No Parking Sign Threatens Violators Of Hilarious 'Curses'
A no-parking board in Bengaluru is gaining viral attention for its hilarious curses aimed at those who violate rules.

No-parking boards are meant to caution people and prohibit drivers from parking around restricted areas. However, in Bengaluru, no-parking boards have taken on a unique twist. Aside from discouraging parking, these boards are now making rounds on social media for adding a touch of ancient curses with a humorous flair. Affixed to building grills, these boards go beyond the standard “No Parking” warnings, presenting a “Peak Bengaluru” moment by stating, “Parking prohibited. The wrath of the ancients will fall upon your head!”

An X user took to the microblogging platform (formerly known as Twitter) to share a picture of the no-parking board and wrote, “Parking Prohibited.”

The black-coloured board includes a long note along with a lightning streak on the top. The board read, “The wrath of the ancients will fall upon your head! Your shoelaces will not stay tied! Rabid squirrels will invade your home. Bad hair days for the rest of your life! Food in your refrigerator will mysteriously spoil! You will only receive thoughtless recycled gifts! Your vehicle will start making that expensive knocking sound and your tyres will perpetually deflate! Mosquitoes will pick you over everyone else! No one will ever talk to you at parties or laugh at your jokes or even like you! Be warned! Unless you are friends or family, then it’s all good.”

Notably, the board is no ordinary deterrent but clearly a creative piece that manages to mix humour with caution. The message has caught the attention of the internet with many finding it hilarious. “It’s scary,” a user wrote with a laughing emoji.

This is not the only weird no-parking board that has gone viral from Bengaluru. Earlier, a parking sign mounted in front of a house went viral for a bit of sarcasm. A user shared the picture of the board that reads, “No parking, unexpected punctures can happen,” further highlighting that Bangaloreans have a sense of humour.

Earlier, a few other no-parking boards from the Koramangala area went viral, sparking a debate on social media about the parking issues in the city. Some signboards including messages like “Do not even think of parking here” and “Not 5 minutes, not 30 seconds, not at all” have got the internet talking time and again.
