Vineeta Singh, CEO and co-founder of Sugar Cosmetics, and a judge at Shark Tank India, recently shared a video in which she is roasting and mimicking her fellow judges. In the video Singh, she accurately points out the body language and pet phrases used by her fellow Shark Tank judges Anupam Mittal, CEO of People Group and Shaadi.com, Ritesh Agarwal, the CEO of OYO Rooms, and Aman Gupta, co-founder and chief marketing officer of electronics brand boAt. While sharing this video, Singh wrote, “The only thing in this world I can cook is Shark Fry.” Her video has gathered over 58,000 likes since it was posted on February 23.
In the clip, Singh starts by pointing out how each season Anupam Mittal adopts the tendency of using certain words that start from an alphabet. She highlights how in the first season Mittal would use words like “Jasba”, “Junoon”, and “Jayadaat”. In season 2, Mittal used words starting from ‘M’ and would say words like ‘Maksad’ and ‘Mukaddar’. She goes on to say this season Mittal is hellbent on using odd words like “Totkay” and “Tigrambaaj”.

Singh then moves to Ritesh Agarwal and jokes about his long philosophical musings before commenting on how Aman Gupta, who has been on the show since season one, has become too relaxed with his familiarity with the show. Singh noted that now Gupta slouches on his chair and only sits up straight when he has to ask questions to the entrepreneurs. All the Shark Tank judges seemed amused by Singh’s roasting.
Commenting on this video, an Instagram user wrote, “Mam your observation skill is awesome.” Another wrote, “Mam your acting/mimicking skills are on point!!!!” An Instagram user remarked, “Hahaha how observant. I totally agree with the point you mentioned about Aman Gupta… he is so relaxed on the show, acting like a star.”
Last year, Singh spoke to the Indian Express about the show’s popularity and said, “I had no idea that we would get so much love and respect. It reached my office complex, the security, staff and even the help. Whether it is a person who is 80-plus or kids, Shark Tank India found an audience in all of them. I am really happy that entrepreneurship has become a part of mainstream conversations. India is finally realising the true value of businesses.”
Shark Tank India Season 3 premiered on January 22, 2024. The show is the Indian franchise of the American series. It shows budding entrepreneurs making presentations to a panel of investors, known as sharks, who decide whether to invest in their businesses or not.
