The touching clip showcased an IndiGo pilot and cabin crew making an announcement onboard to celebrate mothers and their bond with their children.
In the clip, IndiGo’s pilot, Sameera Shamsuddin who is also a mother, addressed passengers and crew. “We celebrate Mother’s Day week here at IndiGo. So, from one mother to another, I would like to wish all mothers on board today a very happy Mother’s Day. We’ve a little surprise for all of you today. And it is a very important message, which I hope is sent across very well to have many aviators in the future,” Sameera can be heard saying in the video.
That’s not all. Later, a special card with the empowering message “Beti bachao. Beti padhao. Beti ko pilot banao” was distributed among all the mothers onboard. The delightful clip concludes with the flyers applauding and appreciating the cabin crew.
Mother’s Day, observed worldwide on the second Sunday of May, is a time to honour the remarkable role of moms, who tirelessly wear numerous hats and pour boundless love and care into their children’s lives each day. It is a day to recognise the selfless and invaluable contributions they make for their children’s accomplishments.
