The internet is home to a wide variety of videos, some of which test our sense of rationality and common sense. There are various videos documenting hauntings, supernatural occurrences and possessions, most of which are debunked by rationalists. Yet, sometimes we cannot help thinking about whether there is some ounce of truth in these videos. We bring before one such clip which would make you wonder about the authenticity of the video. The video shows what seemingly appears to be two women who are possessed inside a moving train.
The clip begins inside a train compartment where we see two young girls seated alongside other passengers. The caption reveals that the train is moving from Jammu to Kathua. It appears to be a general class coach. The girls, all of a sudden begin to act strange, beginning with facial expressions that make it look like they have gone into a trance. Then one of them starts to contort her body into an unnatural position, while the other one starts making strange growling noises and stars rocking to and fro. The astonishing fact is that none of the co-passengers show any signs of getting unnerved by the strange behaviour of the two women.
In spite of the scary nature of the video, most users are not buying into the possession concept. One user called them drama queens who just want to draw attention to themselves, while another said that this was just a carefully thought out plan to escape the TT. Another hilarious comment said that the elderly women sitting by the window were reluctant to leave the window seat come what may. Many users actually believed the whole video to be staged, with the other passengers playing along. This is due to the fact that most of the passengers appear to be unaffected by the strange behaviour of the women.
