Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s admission that Ottawa did not have concrete proof against India but only intelligence of the country’s involvement in the killing of Khalistani terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar on Canadian soil shows that he is playing with ISI and Khalistani elements, Intel sources have told CNN-News18.
“Trudeau, in his statement before the commission probing the case, told them they have only intelligence and no hard evidence. He told the commission that Canada wants to work with India but on the investigation front, they refused to oblige us,” they said.
The sources, responding to Trudeau’s assertion that some MPs told him about India’s involvement, said the prime minister should name the politicians “so that we can also reply with their credentials”.
“The Canadian Parliament is full of Khalistan sympathisers and they have taken Trudeau for a ride. How can a prime minister, on the basis of only intelligence given by some individuals, name and blame a country for a killing? Trudeau’s behaviour is not like that of a responsible prime minister and he has spoiled relations between two countries.”
They added: “He has gone public on international forums before talking to us. It’s our job to seek evidence before starting an investigation but in the last one year, no evidence has been given despite asking several times. The Indian NSA asked his counterpart many times but there was no response. Trudeau is misguided and governed by Khalistani and ISI elements and he is adamant to spoil his relationship with India.”
CNN-News18 had earlier reported how Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) had not spoken a word on Indian agents despite having four people in custody since almost a year. It had also reported that drug and immigration cartels are working in Canada.
POLITICAL COMPULSIONS
According to the Intel sources, the Trudeau government named outgoing high commissioner Sanjay Verma under political compulsions and as part of a conspiracy to please Sikhs.
“The Trudeau government is a minority government and will fall any day. Due to political compulsions, they are risking diplomatic relationships with India. Naming Verma as person of interest is nothing but desperate attempts to show they are doing everything possible against India.”
The sources said India had been seeking evidence in the Nijjar case for the past one year but there has been “no response in black and white”.
“Their agency RCMP arrested Sikh youths who are suggesting that Nijjar was killed due to a gang war. So far, RCMP has not given any evidence of Indian involvement but Trudeau wants them to give favourable results to nail India.”
The sources said Canada is becoming the hub of gangsters and Khalistani goons and criminals who are given shelter, visa and citizenship on fast-track basis. “The Indian government is very clear that the Trudeau government is not cooperating on many extradition requests we made. Pannun is threatening Indian diplomats on social media and running illegal activities in India on a daily basis.”
