The leading two-wheeler maker Hero MotoCorp is all set to make its product line expensive, starting from July 1, 2024. The brand has already confirmed the news, revealing its plans to hike prices on the scooters and motorcycles segment.
The report says the decision to price hike has been taken due to higher input costs.
Impact on Models
According to the details shared by the brand, the price range will be revised by up to Rs 1,500. It will impact the entire range. However, the exact hike depends on model to model.
Current Offerings
Currently, Hero MotoCorp has a wide range of products in the Indian market. The list includes the newly launched Xtreme 25R, Maverick 440, Karizma XMR, Harley Davidson x440, and the list goes on. When it comes to the scooter, the segment is ruled by top offerings that include Destini Prime, Destini 125 Xtech, X00M, and Pleasure Plus Xtech.
Upcoming Product
Amid this, the company is also gearing up to release another product for Indian customers. It is scheduled to launch the all-new Destini 125. The report says the scooter will come with some noticeable changes, providing extra comfort, better performance, and a comfortable riding experience compared to ongoing models.
It is expected to use the same 124.6cc single-cylinder engine. However, some tweaks are expected.
