India will now be looking to continue their winning momentum against the reigning world champions this weekend.
The India versus Australia group clash will take place on October 19 at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium. The reigning World Cup winners kicked off their campaign with a solid show against Sri Lanka, beating them by six wickets. They also defeated New Zealand by 60 runs to continue their dominance at the event. Beating India on Sunday next will almost guarantee their spot in the semi-final stage of the tournament.
