NID DAT Prelims Result 2024 Declared at admissions.nid.edu, Steps to Download

The National Institute of Design (NID) released the result of the Design Aptitude Test (DAT) 2024 prelims examination on February 16. The Institute has declared the result for the Master of Design (M.Des) programmes. Candidates who appeared for the NID DAT 2024 can now check and download their scorecard by visiting the official website at admissions.nid.edu. To access the M.Des NID DAT prelims result 2024, candidates will have to enter their login details such as Email Address and Date of Birth.

The NID conducted its Design Aptitude Test on December 24, 2023. The prelims examination was administered in a pen-and-paper mode across various centres. It was held for those seeking admission in Bachelor of Design (B.Des.) courses and the Master of Design (M.Des) programmes. Every year, the NID DAT is held to shortlist candidates for admission to the BDes and MDes programmes at the NID campuses.

Candidates who are unhappy with their NID DAT scores can request a recheck of the answer sheet via the official website at admissions.nid.edu. The NID DAT preliminary rechecking facility will remain open until tomorrow, February 18, 2024.

NID DAT Prelims Result 2024: Steps To Download

Step 1: Go to the official website at admissions.nid.edu

Step 2: On the homepage, look for and click on the link that says – “Click here to view M.Des DAT Prelims Result 2024-25”

Step 3: As a new page opens, enter the login credentials and click on submit.

Step 4: The NID DAT Prelims Result 2024 will appear on the screen.

Step 5: Check and download the preliminary result.

Those who pass the preliminary examination will be eligible to sit for the NID DAT Mains 2024. According to the official schedule, the DAT mains will be held on March 3 and April 6 for M.Des programmes and April 27 and April 28 for B.Des courses. The DAT M.Des exam schedule is now available on the exam authority’s official website. Candidates can download the NID Main admit card 2024 on February 22 for M.Des and April 14 for B.Des.

According to the NID DAT pattern, the prelims exam assesses the candidate’s knowledge, skills, and behavioural abilities. The main exam includes a studio test, and those who perform well will advance to the personal interview round. “Those candidates appearing for two studio tests on the same day, shall report to the Ahmedabad campus for registration,” reads the official notice.
