Rooney to miss England games with head cut: David Moyes
Manchester United manager said that Wayne Rooney has "no chance" of playing for England in their two upcoming World Cup qualifiers.

Liverpool: Manchester United manager David Moyes says Wayne Rooney has "no chance" of playing for England in their two upcoming World Cup qualifiers after cutting the middle of his forehead in training on Saturday.

Moyes says the striker's injury - after reportedly colliding with a team-mate - was "completely accidental" and will "probably keep him out for a few weeks."

When asked about the possibility of Rooney playing for England in matches against Moldova on Friday and Ukraine four days later, Moyes says "I would think no chance."

Rooney will miss United's Premier League match at fierce rival Liverpool on Sunday. England is second in their qualifying group, two points behind Montenegro with a game in hand and with four matches left. Ukraine is a point further back in third.
