According to the latest reports, South star Ram Charan’s blockbuster film Rangasthalam is going to be re-released soon. The super hit film was released in 2018.
The reports further state that it is being done to mark Ram Charan’s 16 years in the film industry. To celebrate the occasion the film is going to be released in selected locations on September 27. A special poster was released to make the announcement and the locations where the film will be released are Srikakulam, Vijayanagaram, Vizag, Rajahmundry, Nellore, Ananthpur and Hyderabad.
Rangasthalam, released in 2018, was directed by Sukumar. The cast of the film included Ram Charan, Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Aadhi Pinisetty, Prakash Raj, Anasuya Bharadwaj and Jagapathi Babu. It was produced by Naveen Yerneni, Y Ravi Shankar and CV Mohan, under the production Mythri Movie Makers. Devi Sri Prasad gave the music in the film.
The film went on to become one of the most successful Telugu films, collecting around Rs 216 crore, over a budget of Rs 60 crore. It was awarded the National Film Award for Best Audiography. Rangasthalam is also included in the list of 25 Greatest Telugu Films Of The Decade by the website Film Companion.
Currently, Ram Charan is working on his upcoming film titled Game Changer. The rest of the cast of the film includes Kiara Advani, Anjali, SJ Suryah, Jayaram, Sunil, Nassar, Samuthirakani and Srikanth. It is being directed by S Shankar and produced by Dil Raju and Sirish, under Sri Venkateswara Creations. Shameer Muhammad is composing the music for the film.
After the completion of Game Changer, Ram Charan will begin a new project which is tentatively titled RC16. Buchi Babu Sana is going to direct the new project. According to reports, the film is scheduled to release on the occasion of Makar Sankranti, next year in January. Reports state further that Vijay Sethupathi and Tiger Shroff are also going to be featured in the film.
