As a part of 'Joy of Giving week', a single cake of 1000 Kilograms and 100 metres will be created. This mainly aims at supporting the NGO Ekam foundation based in Chennai. The cake will be displayed at Express Avenue on 2nd October, 2012.
It would pay a tremendous tribute to Isaignani Ilayaraja, India's most acclaimed musician by compiling 1000 photos of him on this single cake. 500 Kilo chocolate powder, 200 Kilos of fresh cream, 300 Kilos chocolate and about 1000 icing sheets will be put together for creating this giant cake! 30 Chefs from the French loaf bakery will work on the baking and assembling of the cake.
Underprivileged children are helped by the NGO Ekam foundation and the proceeds of this cake sale will be handed over to this foundation completely.
