A must-visit unique exhibition!

CHENNAI: An all India handicrafts and handloom exhibition, titled National Artisans Expo, is going on at Valluvar Kottam, Nungambakkam High Road. Some of the national and state awardees in the field of art are participating in the expo. Metal crafts from Aligarh and Moradabad, durries from Agra, furniture from Saharanpur, wood work from Nageena, saris from Varanasi, woollen shawls from Uttar Pradesh, phulkari from Punjab, bedsheets from Harayana, cane furniture from Assam, filigiree jewellery from Orissa, coconut crafts from Kerala and much more have been exhibited at the venue. They are also available for sale.  Conducted by the Janhit Samaj Sewa Sansthan, a handloom and handicraft society, the  exhibition is on till September 19.
