THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The CPM state secretariat on Sunday decided to approach the central leadership with a complaint against party veteran and Opposition Leader V S Achuthanandan. The CPM official leadership is viewing the Kanhangad statement of VS and the visit he made to Berlin Kunhananthan Nair’s house the other day as gross violations of party discipline. “Both are calculated moves to announce that he would be there to protect anyone who rebels against the official leadership. It is a game plan hatched in the backdrop of the forthcoming organisational polls,” said a CPM leader. The secretariat has decided to make an official complaint to the CC about both the acts of VS and would try to raise the issue in the CC meeting scheduled for later this week.‘No Decision Yet on VS’Kozhikode: “We have not decided yet whether we should discuss the visit of Opposition Leader V S Achuthanandan to the house of Berlin Kunhanandan Nair or not. We have to meet to decide whether there should be a discussion on the matter,” said S Ramachandran Pillai.
